The Firhill Cup is back and it’s your chance to get on the pitch!
8 teams, 2 groups, 2 finalists, 1 trophy.
We are THRILLED to be hosting another Firhill Cup! There are a maximum of 112 places available, on a first come first served basis. The 8 team squads are chosen at random from all of the entrants – you cannot enter as a team, but we will try our best to keep family members or small groups of friends together where we can.
This year’s Firhill Cup will take place at the Energy Check Stadium @ Firhill on Sunday 13th May, with all proceedings going towards everything we do here at PTCT.

Your place is not secure until you make your donation – Minimum donations for the Firhill Cup are £30 for over 16s and £10 for 10-16 year olds.

Please note: Squads are selected randomly; we will try to accommodate requests from friends and family to play in the same team, however “team” entries are not accepted.
All players must have registered in advance.
8 teams will play in two groups of 4.
Each team plays the other teams in their group once.
The top team from each group will go through to contest the Final and play for the trophy.
For each game played, 3 points are awarded for a win, 2 points for a score draw, 1 point for a no-score draw and 0 for a loss.
In the event of any tie on points; goal difference will be used to determine a group winner. Where goal difference is equal, the penalty kicks (5, then “sudden death”) will be used to determine a group winner. The same procedure will be used in the event that the Final game is tied.
Each team will consist of a maximum of 16 players, with no more than 12 players on the field of play at any one time.
Substitutes will be on a roll-on-roll-off basis, with changes being made only in a break of play.
Players can only play for one team during the competition.
During games, the referee’s decision is final and should not be disputed.
Any player sent off or cautioned twice shall not be allowed to play any further part in the competition.
The referee may request that any player not entering into the spirit of the competition be substituted.

Group matches will be played for 20 minutes each.
The Final will be 40 minutes, with a short half-time interval to switch half.
Organising committee decisions are final and irreversible. Any breach of these rules during the tournament may mean a game result being voided.
A voided result will be recorded as a 2-0 defeat.
A respect and fair play attitude should be shown at all times.
